'53 Chevy

This month's project was a '53 Chevy. I used Prismacolor Colored Pencils for the car, which was both tedious and technical. With help from ellipse templates, I was able to accurately draw the tires, and add a third tire that wasn't in the reference to make the car look more balanced. I like to draw cars, but I know nothing about them, so that was a challenge. When I use colored pencils too much my repetitive injuries to flair up. So I used water soluble artist crayons and oil pastels for everything besides the car. Crayons and pastels are much less physically taxing and a lot of fun to use!
