Play Ball! - A colored pencil drawing

Hello Everyone!

I hope you are all enjoying the summer! I just completed a new project. This one was much less complicated than the carousel, and it was a lot of fun to draw!  I really enjoy creating textures with colored pencils. This time I combined the background from one reference photo with the ball and glove from the other. I used Prismacolor Premier and FaberCastell Polychromos colored pencils on Strathmore Brisol Vellum paper.  After using other paper and going back to the Bristol Vellum, I decided that it is my favorite type of paper so far.    

To me, baseball is fresh cut grass, sunny days, and a feeling of nostalgia.  Prints will be available on my website soon. This would make a great gift for any baseball fan!
